Welcome! Group Wiki for CIT 601-602 - Spring 2013

View the Innovations Mini-Teach topics below.

1) Follow the link to select one you would like to research.

2) On that page, use the "EDIT" tab at the top to Request Access so you can create an account to gain editing rights.

3) Watch your email to receive the reply message with a link to create your account. 

4) By Apr. 3, Post a message on that page to stake a claim and begin building your team to get started. Just sending the request to join is only the first step - you must actually post a message with your name on the topic page to claim the topic - first come, first serve! Only 2-3 members per group (4 is too many - choose another topic.)

  1. Presenters: Prepare your wiki page by midnight on the date noted for others to view.
  2. Everyone: Follow the links to the sites on this wiki after midnight on the posted dates to learn more about the topics. Use the comments section on each page for questions or professional comments. Then complete the Feedback Survey in WebCampus for classmates' sites.
  3. Presenters: After you complete work on your wiki page lessons:
    • Monitor the comments section on your site for 48 hours to respond to questions and comments.
    • In the Innovations Mini-Teach Assignment in WebCampus, copy and paste the web address for your wiki page in the assignment box and submit
  4. Here is a good resource site to help you get started. Scroll through the pages to find your innovation and learn more about it.

 

  • Note: all members should compose and post information on the wiki. The "Page history" link tracks this to verify your contribution to site development. If you do not post - you do not earn credit.
  • Note: Be sure and access the Innovations Instructions link at the top AND the heed the caution note included about using text from others.
