Welcome to the Group Wiki for CIT 601-602 - Spring 2012

This is the collaborative site for a course assignment in which students work in small groups to learn about an innovative technology and then design and implement a mini-lesson on a wiki page to teach classmates about their innovation.

CIT 601-2: Topic List Sp12

To join this Wiki and select your topic: (3 steps)

1.  Request Access: Click on the "EDIT" tab at the top of this page and the "request access" link.

  • Type in your Rebelmail address
  • In the message box, type 2 things:
    • "CIT 601-602" +
    • Your name - so I can easily identify you as a member of the course
  • Confirm by entering the letter requested.
  • Click "Send to administrator" - within 24 hours (requests over the weekend take a little longer!) you will receive an email  reply with a link to create your account. (Note: those responses are not automatic - I have to log-in and send them - so give me some time!)

2.  Create your account: When you receive the return email message in your email account  granting access, follow the link given in the email.

  • Click on "Create an Account" in the upper right corner
  • Enter your name and email address
  • Create and confirm your password
  • Please, write down your password so that you don't forget it!

3.  Post a message on a topic - follow the link above to the topics - select one - and post a message to "stake your claim" as a member. No more than 4 members per group. If the topic you want is full - select another one! (The early bird gets the best selection!)
